Privacy

We collect what we need to check sites and deliver audits, and nothing for advertising.

What we collect

  • For a free check: the page address you enter and the public content we fetch from it. No account is needed.
  • For an audit: the site address and your email address.
  • For a fix request sent from a report: your name and email, the findings you select and any note you add.
  • For the contact form: your message and the details you give us to reply.
  • Basic request logs (IP address, time, user agent) to prevent abuse and rate-limit the free checker. Share tokens, query strings and referrers are removed from each log line before it is written.

How long we keep it

  • Free check results can be viewed for 24 hours; after that the result link stops working.
  • Copies of the HTML fetched from your pages during an audit are deleted after 7 days.
  • Audit reports are stored privately and shared only through a link that is valid for 30 days. We can issue a new link on request, and the old one then stops working. Report pages are marked noindex.
  • Contact and billing details are kept for as long as we need them to deliver the work and meet accounting obligations.

Who processes it

  • Crawled pages are processed on servers we run. Copies of the fetched page HTML are stored with our cloud storage provider, Amazon Web Services, for review and deleted after 7 days.
  • Verified findings, with example page addresses and short evidence excerpts, are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write explanations. Your raw HTML is never sent.
  • Reports are stored with Amazon Web Services, and emails are sent through Amazon SES.
  • This website is hosted on Vercel, which handles the requests your browser makes to it.
  • Contact messages and audit requests are also recorded with Endframe, our form provider, so we can reply and follow up.
  • On a report delivered by an agency under its own brand, a fix request is emailed to that agency, not to us; we keep a copy of the request.
  • If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled on a form, Cloudflare processes the signals it needs to tell people from bots.

Your choices

  • Ask us to delete your data or withdraw a report link at any time, by replying to any email we sent you or through the contact form.
  • We do not sell personal data and do not use advertising trackers on this site.
